The Art of Coaching
Successful coaching is linked to:
- Listening to the client without judging him in any way.
- Questioning the client in a way that will allow him to take a multi-angled
view (review) of his current situation.
- Giving the client tasks adapted to his objective that allow the work
to continue outside the structure of the coaching session.
- Holding a fundamental belief that each client has the capacity to achieve
his objective once it has been clarified and integrated into his life.
Would
you like to be more effective in the work place ? Would you like to
experience the well-being that comes from sensing that you can take
in your stride whatever comes to you?
Perhaps now is the time to work with a personal coach

- Are you feeling at a standstill in your career path ?
- Would you like to do a career stock take and determine what the
next step is ?
- Would you like to feel more a part of your current work team
?

process ?

Nota Bene
Coaching is a co-production between the coach and the client.
The client brings the content and the coach brings a process
adapted to his clients needs. If you are not prepared
to do the work required to achieve your objective, you are
probaly not yet ready to undertake working with a coach.

Corporate
Coaching
A three way contract is agreed between the company that is financing
the work, the client whose objective it is and the coach.
Once the objective and success criteria have been clearly heard
and agreed by all three parties, coaching sessions can begin. The
sessions take place at a place agreed between the coach and his
client and usually last between 90 and 120 minutes. Telephone sessions
last between 40 to 60 minutes and are equally effective. Some clients
prefer sessions to be face to face and others prefer the flexibility
that the telephone offers.
Confidentiality is essential and the client is entirely responsible
for all feedback regarding his sessions to his employer.
As a founding member of the French Society of Coaching and its
Ethical Standards and Credentialing Committee, Lynne Burney - LKB
Associates - is committed to respecting its code of deontology.
She equally upholds the Ethical Standards laid out by the International
Coach Federation (ICF) as a Master Credentialed Coach (MCC).
Life
Coaching
The client finances the coaching project himself and determines
the parameters and success criteria (professional or personal) of
the project. LKB Associates will put him in contact with coaches
in the network. Sessions take place either in the coach's office
(between 60 and 120 minutes) or over the telephone (between 40 and
60 minutes).
