LKB School of Coaching
This 12-day course spread over 6 months (2 days per month) is designed
for people wanting to become corporate coaches, and the basic principles
equally apply to people wanting to become life coaches.
As the course is relatively short it is essential that applicants
have a working knowledge of company life and have started a self
development process.
The school only takes
in 12 people per class which guarantees a combination of rigour and flexibility
in its running. The programme includes:
- Filmed coaching sessions and individual feedback.
- An exam procedure including oral and written tests and a practical assessment.
- A fun atmosphere that facilitates learning.
- An approach to learning that is in phase with the subject matter: coaching.
By the end of the course,
most trainees will have:
- Begun coaching professionally.
- Gained clarity about themselves as coaches and about the profession.
- Identified zones for further self development.
- Formed a network of coaches that will be a future source of support and business.

School of Team Coaching
This training course targets consultants, coaches and trainers who
wish to develop the skills for successful creation and facilitation
of team workshops - for more mature teams ... team coaching.
People applying for the course need to have a working knowledge
of company life, to have experienced at some point in their lives
what team life is about and to have acquired the main skills of
a coach. As the course is relatively short (4 modules of 2 days
each over 4 months), it will help if applicants already have experience
of working with groups.

The
presence of two trainers during the 8 days means that each
of the 12 participants will receive individual feedback and attention.
The added value of the training lies in the amount of practice
time for each participant and the "real" team experience
that grows out of that practice. Participants learn to:
- Be strict and concise in delivering instructions.
- Be open and flexible in their facilitation of team debriefing
sessions.
By the end of the course
most participants will have:
- Acquired the know how for building team workshops.
- Developed a conscious and applicable choice between structure
and flexibility in their facilitation skills.
- Experienced life in a remote team.
- Formed a professional network of experienced facilitators.

Lynne Burney and Corinne Devery will deliver this training
bilingually (French and English) as from April 2006.
